AI assistant transparency (EU AI Act, art. 50)

The conversational assistants deployed by Flows Studio on our clients’ websites are artificial intelligence systems. In accordance with Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the “AI Act”), you are informed that you are interacting with an AI, not a human.

These assistants answer solely from a knowledge base provided by the client. They can make mistakes: when in doubt, or for any important decision, contact the human team of the relevant company directly. You can ask to speak with a human at any time.

Health & advice

Our assistants provide no medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, legal or financial advice, and never make a diagnosis. For any health matter, consult a qualified professional.

Personal data (GDPR)

Conversations may be recorded to provide the service and ensure the assistant’s quality and security. They are stored in the European Union: database and storage in France and Ireland, application runtime in Paris.

Answer generation relies on an AI model provider established in the United States, as does the delivery of our service notifications. These transfers are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Content is never used to train AI models, and the model provider’s logs are deleted within seven days. The full list of our sub-processors is published at flows-studio.com/en/sous-traitants, with the role and location of each.

Please do not share sensitive data (in particular health data) through the chat. If you do, it is neither used nor retained for that purpose; you will be redirected to a confidential human exchange.

Legal bases. On this site: your consent for audience measurement, our legitimate interest in replying to the messages you send us, and performance of the contract for our clients. Within the assistants deployed on our clients’ sites, the client is the controller and determines the legal basis; Flows Studio acts there only as a processor, on the client’s instructions.

Retention periods. Conversations with an assistant: rolling 12 months, then automatic deletion. Contact requests sent through this site: 3 years from the last exchange. Aggregated, anonymous statistics: no limit, as they no longer identify anyone.

Your rights. Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. File your request on the “Your data, your rights” page (/en/mes-donnees), where it is timestamped, or write to contact@flows-studio.com. We reply within one month (Article 12(3) GDPR). Where the request concerns an assistant deployed on one of our clients’ sites, we forward it to that client, who is the controller, and we tell you to whom it was forwarded.

Complaint. You may at any time lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be, autoriteprotectiondonnees.be.

B2B prospecting

We send prospecting messages to professionals whose business contact details we obtain from company data providers and public sources (the organisation’s website, registers, professional directories). The data processed are business contact details and the role held, never data from the private sphere.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in offering our services to organisations likely to have a use for them. These details are kept for 3 years from the last meaningful contact, then deleted. They are neither sold nor transferred.

Every message contains an immediate opt-out. You may also object, request access to your data or its erasure at contact@flows-studio.com. An objection is final: the address is kept on a suppression list for the sole purpose of never being contacted again.

Cookies and audience measurement

This site sets no advertising tracker. Audience measurement only starts after your explicit acceptance: until you have answered the banner, the measurement script is not loaded and no identifier is created.
