It is permanently present, as a discreet floating bubble in a corner of the screen, and it only opens if the visitor decides to open it. No window popping up after five seconds, no sound, no overlay hiding your content. Position, colours, icon and tone are set to your brand guidelines, to the point that most visitors take it for a native part of the site. On mobile, its footprint is calibrated never to cover your call or order buttons. It can also be limited to certain pages, product and contact pages for instance, if you would rather keep it off your homepage.
